Antoinette Parfitt Cox
The Innvoator, Founder, and Mentor
Antoinette began her beauty career in 1982 and quickly became one of California’s most respected permanent makeup artists and educators. After earning her CMI Instructor certification in 1991 through the American Academy of Micropigmentation, she dedicated her career to advancing the art of permanent cosmetics. Antoinette built Permatech Makeup Studio into a trusted destination for natural-looking hair-stroke brows, eyeliner, lip enhancements, and corrective PMU, and spent decades training artists who now lead studios across the country.
The whole story from founder to mentor
Antoinette is the previous owner of Permatech Makeup Studio and a pioneer in the permanent cosmetics industry. After training under Bonnie Dirks of Perma Cosmetics in Beverly Hills, she mastered some of the most advanced PMU techniques and quickly became recognized for her precision and artistry.
Throughout her career, Antoinette worked in leading Medi-Spas throughout California and developed a loyal following of clients including actors, models, authors, musicians, and professionals across all industries—men included. Her reputation for excellence drew aspiring artists from around the world seeking her signature training.
In 2007, she opened the Permatech Makeup Training Studio in Simi Valley, offering an intensive 100-hour program every six weeks. Her hands-on teaching style, deep technical expertise, and passion for elevating beauty standards helped shape some of the industry’s top PMU artists from California to England.
Beyond her studio work, Antoinette has volunteered countless hours working with cancer patients at no cost, using her skills to help restore confidence after medical treatments. She is also a proud member of the Rotary Club of Simi Valley and an active force in community service.
Antoinette has lived in Simi Valley since 1964 and comes from a long line of small-business owners who helped shape the community. To this day, her dedication to excellence, artistry, and mentorship continues to influence the next generation of permanent makeup professionals.

Hannah Bradbury
Owner and World Acclaimed PMU Artist
Growing up in the world of permanent cosmetics, Hannah has been part of Permatech since 2007. As Antoinette’s youngest daughter, she learned the artistry, discipline, and client-care philosophy that made the studio one of the most trusted names in the industry. After completing the renowned Artistry of Permatech program in 2011 and earning her formal certification at age 19, Hannah quickly built a loyal clientele who appreciated her soft, natural style and gentle attention to detail.
Today, as the owner of Permatech, Hannah continues her mother’s legacy with a modern touch—combining technique, compassion, and an artist’s eye to create results that enhance each client’s confidence and natural beauty.
Hannah's whole story from pupil to master
Hannah was immersed in the permanent makeup world long before she ever picked up a machine. Beginning as an assistant in 2007, she spent years observing Antoinette’s meticulous process, client interactions, and signature techniques that helped shape what Permatech is known for today: natural results, artistic precision, and a deeply personalized client experience.
At age 17, she completed the rigorous Artistry of Permatech course—an accomplishment made more meaningful by the fact that she trained directly under Antoinette, one of the most respected instructors in the field. Although too young to be certified at the time, Hannah continued practicing, assisting, and refining her skills until she officially completed her training and became certified in 2013.
Since then, she has tattooed countless clients across Ventura County and beyond. As a registered tattoo artist, Hannah brings a blend of technical expertise and a natural artistic instinct to every procedure. Clients appreciate her calm demeanor, her eye for symmetry, and her talent for creating subtle, polished enhancements that fit seamlessly into their everyday lives.
While she has developed a strong clientele of her own, Hannah continues to support and collaborate with Antoinette—maintaining the philosophy of teamwork and excellence that the studio was built upon.
For Hannah, permanent makeup isn’t just a profession; it’s a generational craft and a personal passion. She feels honored to help clients simplify their routines, feel more confident, and enjoy long-lasting beauty that looks effortless.

Frequently asked questions
Why is Permatech the best permanent makeup company for me?
Permatech Makeup Studio has been Simi Valley’s trusted permanent makeup destination for over 30 years. Our artists are not technicians—they’re highly trained cosmetic professionals with advanced certification in brows, lips, eyeliner, and corrective pigmentation. Each artist has the precision of a surgeon and the artistic eye needed to design features that look natural, balanced, and uniquely you.
Clients come to us from all over Simi Valley, Moorpark, Thousand Oaks, Chatsworth, and nearby areas because we personalize every service. No cookie-cutter shapes. No trends that won’t suit your face. We map, measure, and design everything specifically for your bone structure, hair growth patterns, and style preferences. When you choose Permatech, you’re choosing safety, artistry, and results that elevate your natural beauty—never overwhelm it.
What can I expect when calling for my first appointment?
When you call our Simi Valley studio, you’ll speak with a knowledgeable team member who understands every service we offer. They’ll answer your questions, help you understand which procedure best fits your goals, and pair you with the artist whose expertise matches your needs. You’re also welcome to schedule a complimentary consultation before booking.
What is permanent makeup? Is it safe?
Permanent makeup is a form of cosmetic tattooing where medical-grade pigments are placed into the upper layers of the skin to enhance brows, lips, or eyes. At Permatech, we use only high-quality pharmaceutical pigments and sterile, single-use equipment. While the FDA does not regulate pigment colors, adverse reactions are extremely rare, especially when performed by experienced artists. Safety and sanitation are top priorities in our Simi Valley studio.
How long does permanent makeup last?
Permanent makeup gradually fades over time due to skin type, sun exposure, skincare products, lifestyle, and pigment color. Darker tones last longer; softer, natural colors fade sooner. Most clients return for a perfecting visit 4–6 weeks after their first appointment, then enjoy results for 1–3 years. Yearly touch-ups help maintain crisp shape and color.
Does Permanent Makeup hurt?
Most clients describe the sensation as mild or simply “annoying.” We use advanced topical numbing agents formulated specifically for permanent makeup to ensure comfort throughout the procedure. Sensitivity varies depending on the service, but many Simi Valley clients are surprised by how comfortable the experience actually is.
What happens during the complimentary consultation?
We encourage clients to arrive wearing their everyday makeup so we can understand their preferences. Bring your favorite pencils, colors, or reference photos—anything that reflects the look you want.
- During your consultation, your artist will:
- Discuss your goals and concerns
- Review your facial structure, undertones, and natural features
- Recommend the best technique for your desired look
- Perform a removable pencil design so you can preview your results
Once you approve the design, you may move forward with your appointment the same day (depending on scheduling).
How many appointments will I need?
All permanent makeup procedures require at least two visits. The first appointment creates your shape and color foundation. The perfecting visit—scheduled 4–8 weeks later—refines the details, adds depth, and ensures long-term retention. After that, most clients return annually or biannually for maintenance.
What should I know about pre-procedure care?
Proper preparation leads to better results. Here are key guidelines:
- Arrive well-rested, hydrated, and fed
- Avoid strenuous exercise the day of your procedure
- Discontinue blood thinners (aspirin, vitamins A & E) 7 days prior unless prescribed
- For lip procedures, cold sore history requires antiviral medication
- Discontinue lash serums (Latisse, GrandeLash) 2–4 weeks prior
- Remove lash extensions 1 week prior
- Avoid brow/lash tinting within 48 hours of your appointment
- Wear glasses instead of contacts for eyeliner appointments
- Schedule around your menstrual cycle if you tend to be more sensitive
- Avoid important social events for 24–48 hours post-procedure due to possible redness or swelling
We provide full pre-care instructions at booking.
How long does healing take?
Healing depends on the area treated, but most clients experience mild flaking and fading during the first week. Below is a simplified version of the healing timeline:
Brows (Microblading, Powdered, Combo)
- Days 1–2: Darker, bold appearance
- Days 3–5: Itching, flaking begins
- Days 6–10: Color softens and evens out
- Week 4: True healed color
Lips
- Days 1–2: Swelling, bright color
- Days 3–5: Flaking, chapped texture
- Days 7–14: Temporary fading (“frosty stage”)
- Weeks 3–4: Color returns and stabilizes
Eyeliner
- Days 1–2: Mild swelling, thicker appearance
- Days 3–5: Flaking, slight itching
- Days 6–10: Color softens and heals
Every client receives a detailed aftercare guide and support throughout the healing process.
Can permanent makeup be removed or corrected if I change my mind?
Yes, but removal takes time and expertise. This is why Permatech takes a conservative approach during your first visit. We start with softer colors and build gradually to ensure you love your results. During your consultation, we encourage honest feedback so we can design a look you feel confident in before any pigment is applied.
Will I still look like myself?
Yes—only better. Permanent cosmetics enhance your natural features without masking them. The goal is to create soft, balanced definition that looks like you, just more polished. You can still wear makeup on top for special occasions whenever you like.
How much time will I save with permanent makeup?
Most clients save up to 100 hours per year by eliminating the need for daily brow penciling, eyeliner application, or lip liner. That’s weeks of regained time—plus the confidence of looking refreshed from the moment you wake up.
How much does permanent makeup cost?
Pricing depends on the procedure, level of customization, and the expertise of your artist. Higher-quality studios like Permatech invest in advanced training, medical-grade pigments, and sterile technique. Because permanent makeup lasts for years, choosing an experienced artist ensures better results and avoids costly corrections.

What is microstroking?
Microstroking is a precise form of permanent makeup where ultra-fine hairlike strokes are tattooed into the skin to create natural-looking brows. It’s ideal for clients who want soft, realistic definition without a heavy makeup look. The technique uses handheld tools and high-quality pigments for long-lasting, natural results.
